I'll spare you the details of what happened these last couple weeks but things are looking up for this fella.
Just so you understand the intensity of the situation. Simon and I are practically inseparable. He sleeps curled up by my side, he greets me when I come home, he looks longingly at me through the window when I leave, he follows me around the house like a dog, he sits on my lap when I'm working at the computer, he lays on my lap if I'm watching TV or a movie, he alerts me when it's time for bed and wakes me before the alarm clock when it's breakfast time. So, when he's sick it affects me deeply. And right now, he's staying into my eyes, I think he's saying "I love you".
